I’ve designed a Christmas Stocking using this cable knit heart motif which I love.
If you’re new to cable knitting, please don’t be put off. It is quite straightforward to do, once you get going and most satisfying to see the finished results. I’m very pleased with how it’s turned out and I think it’ll look great as part of anyones Christmas decorations.
I thought a knit-a-long for advent would be fun. It’s such a busy time of year, so take a little time out each day to work on your knitting. We’ll all be doing it together and we can share our progress in a Facebook group which I will set up throughout December. This group can also be used if you’re unsure of anything and need to ask how to do a particular technique that you’re not familiar with. I’ll be available each day to answer any questions and help you out.
You will receive 4 newsletters from which you will be able to download a PDF of the pattern. The pattern will be broken down into sections, with a piece of knitting for you to complete on each day during Advent.
Approximate dates of the emails will be 25-11-18 Welcome email with free bonus festive pattern, 1-12-18 Part One, 8-12-18 Part Two, 15-12-18 Part Three.
If you place an order for this pattern you won’t receive it before those dates.
I have also made some kits which can be purchased now (see links below)
